Lot. 204 Engineer Trousers Beige
Designed with reference to 18th-century work pants excavated in California, these trousers feature a deep rise and a wide silhouette that extends generously from the thigh to the hem. The fabric is a high-density back satin woven from a blend of cotton and hemp. Hemp yarn is used for the weft to add the natural coolness characteristic, while open-end spun cotton yarn is used for the warp, creating a supple and richly textured finish. The buttons and backside parts marked with original engravings are all made of iron. CHARCOAL are finished with a smoked-style coating to evoke a sense of time-worn depth from the outset.
